It is a method of exploration of the interior of the eyeball when there is impediment to observe through the cornea and/or the crystalline with the instruments of daily use. Ecography is used in an exploration when there is no transparency due to diverse causes. We then require evaluating the state of the internal structures of the eye. This is achieved through the use of an ophthalmic ultrasound device that can reveal:
– Detachment of the retina, anterior or posterior
– Dislocation of the crystalline lens
– Internal bleeding
– Chorioretinitis,
– Tumors, etc.
